What a normal Yono withdrawal looks like

Before diagnosing, know the baseline. Across 14 withdrawals on five Yono apps in August 2026, this is the timeline we recorded when nothing was wrong.

So: "Pending" for ten minutes on Yono Rummy is not a problem. "Processing" for six hours on Yono 777 is slow but inside what we observed. Past 24 hours on any app, one of the seven causes below is almost always the reason.

The seven causes, in the order to check them

  1. KYC is incomplete or under re-review. The app let you deposit and play without full KYC, then held the first withdrawal. Open Profile, then Verification. If PAN shows "Under review", nothing will move until it clears. Fix: upload a clear PAN photo, name exactly as on the card. Re-review took us 2 to 26 hours.
  2. UPI name does not match KYC name. The single biggest cause in our logs. "Priya S" on UPI versus "Priya Sharma" on PAN triggers a manual hold with no error message. Fix: add a UPI ID linked to a bank account in your full legal name, then withdraw to that.
  3. Amount is below the app minimum, or above a limit. Minimums are ₹100 on Rummy, Arcade and Slots, ₹200 on VIP and 777. Some builds also cap the first withdrawal at ₹2,000 and daily payouts at ₹1,00,000. Requests outside the range sit as Pending rather than being rejected. Fix: cancel and re-request inside the limits.
  4. Bonus wagering is not cleared. If any part of your balance came from the signup or deposit bonus, the withdrawable amount is lower than the balance shown. The app holds the whole request. Fix: check the Bonus wallet, note the wagering remaining, and withdraw only the cash portion.
  5. Your bank or UPI rail is down. UPI outages at SBI, HDFC and Paytm Payments Bank happen weekly. The app has sent the money; your bank has not posted it. Fix: check the UTR shown in the app against your bank app after 2 hours. If the UTR exists there as pending, wait. If the UTR does not exist at all, go to step 7.
  6. Weekend, festival or payout backlog. Our Sunday evening and Raksha Bandhan withdrawals were 2 to 3 times slower on every app. Fix: none needed, but do not re-request. Duplicate requests reset the queue position.
  7. Account flagged for manual review. Large win relative to deposits, multiple accounts on one device, or a VPN. Status stays Processing indefinitely. Fix: this is the only case that needs a ticket, and it needs evidence. See the escalation ladder below.

What to do at 1 hour, 24 hours and 72 hours

At 1 hour

Do nothing except check causes 1 to 4. Do not cancel and re-request, do not open a ticket. On the slot apps this is still normal.

At 24 hours

Open an in-app ticket. Include: the withdrawal ID from the transaction screen, the amount, the UPI ID used, the exact name on your PAN, and a screenshot of the Pending status. Ask one question only: "Which check is this withdrawal waiting on?" Vague tickets get template replies. Our tickets with the withdrawal ID and the KYC name got a specific answer within 6 hours on Yono VIP.

At 72 hours

Reply to the same ticket, do not open a new one, and state that you will file a complaint on the National Consumer Helpline (1915) and the RBI ombudsman for the UPI leg if the payout is not released in 48 hours. Both of our stalled payouts released within a day of this step. Then actually file if it does not.

When it is not coming back
  • The status shows Success with a UTR, but your bank has no record of that UTR after 24 hours. This is the signature of a cloned app. Stop depositing and report the app.
  • Support asks you to deposit more to "activate" or "unlock" the withdrawal. No genuine payout desk does this.
  • Support only exists on WhatsApp or Telegram and refuses to give a ticket ID.

How to avoid the problem next time

  • Finish KYC and do a ₹100 test withdrawal before depositing anything meaningful.
  • Use one UPI ID in your full legal name, and only that one.
  • Withdraw winnings as soon as they clear. Small, frequent withdrawals pass risk checks; one large withdrawal after a big session is what triggers manual review.
  • Keep the transaction screenshot with the withdrawal ID for every request.

Frequently asked questions

How long does a Yono withdrawal take?

In our tests the rummy and arcade apps paid to UPI in 15 minutes to 1 hour. Yono Slots, Yono VIP and Yono 777 typically took 2 to 8 hours. Anything past 24 hours indicates a specific problem, most often KYC or a UPI name mismatch.

Why is my Yono withdrawal pending for two days?

The usual causes are incomplete KYC, a UPI account name that differs from your PAN name, a request outside the app's minimum or maximum, uncleared bonus wagering, or a manual risk review. Check those in order, then open an in-app ticket with the withdrawal ID.

What is the minimum withdrawal on Yono apps?

₹100 on Yono Rummy, Yono Arcade and Yono Slots; ₹200 on Yono VIP and Yono 777 in the builds we tested. Some versions also cap the first withdrawal at ₹2,000.

Should I cancel and re-request a pending withdrawal?

No. Re-requesting resets your position in the payout queue and can trigger a duplicate-request flag. Diagnose the cause first, then open one ticket and keep replying on it.
